Our coffee brown skirts are a wonderful colour that transitions from one season to the next easily. Wear with citrus colours, seaside blues or rich cream in summer. Then switch to Rusty reds, mustard and green, or earthy tones as the temperatures slide towards bitter cold. In a juicy dark coral colour, this skirt will see you through Christmas and on to Valentines and beyond.
It’s a red that will also suit those folk who are a bit scared of red and it co-ordinates brilliantly with our sweetheart and Cornflower Martha blouse
It’s a medium weight linen look cotton.

A zip and button are on the left hand side and the waistband is designed to sit on the waist comfortably. This fabric is 100% cotton. And there is one POCKET hidden in the right hand seam. Gotta love a pocket!
The length from waistband to hem is a classic 30" for authenticity and elegance

Our classic full circle skirts mean exactly that - they are made of a complete circle of fabric. These were the height of fashion after Dior bought out his "New Look" in 1948, and are so flattering the cut continued right through to the early 60s and have come back a few times since.

While circle skirts were a hit with the teenagers, women of all ages would look to a circle skirt when it came to dressing for a special event, for dinner parties and going out dancing

Because they are not gathered at the waist, they skim the tummy and hips and create a lovely flattering line to the female figure

It’s difficult to find florals with a brown background but we did and here it is! I find big florals on a dark background far easier to wear all year than those on a light background and since it’s 100% cotton you can still feel cool dancing no matter the weather.

The colours are cheery and delightful, and the print lends itself to 40s and 50s styling. You can enjoy it in our classic A-line skirt and our sweet bow blouse, or mix and match to your hearts desire!

Following on from the success of our "Gone Quackers" Fleur dress, we picked up some of the same print with an off white colourway.
We've made it up into our simple A line skirt for easy wearing and easy styling. A bit of mallard love for happy days and frolics, and quacking good fun!

Cotton and polyester mix Machine washable

We fell in love with this fabric as soon as we saw it. A pretty print, that lends itself to any era, but to us it looked like it was straight out of the 30s. red white and blue flouwers with green leaves are scattered all over. The fabric is a reasonably heavy woven, which we believe to be polyester. It looks like a moygashel linen, with a square weave and a completely matt finish.

The skirt itself is a 1940s pattern, which matched the fit and flare of not only an original 1930s skirt but also a 1950s pattern. The only difference was the number of panels. They clearly did regurgitate the things that worked well!

Our edition comes with a wide 1.5" (4cm) waistband, YKK metal side zipper and a cute matching daisy button. The length from the top of the waistband to the hem is 28" (71cm)

The first edition has already been popular with swing dancers, since it goes with many colours and washes well.Machine washable
